As an experienced and successful entrepreneur who has built and sold several healthcare, technology and human capital related businesses throughout his career, Doug knows how to deliver results. He is a past recipient of many awards including Entrepreneur of the Year, Healthcare Hero, Innovative Business Leader, Top 40 under 40, “most influential” in employment and a ‘who’s who’ in healthcare. He is the past president of the Vegas Chamber of Commerce’s Business Council and has been a board member of SHRM, Entrepreneur’s Organization, UNLV School of Medicine and the Las Vegas Medical District. Doug is a single father raising a multi-lingual daughter and loves to travel. As Executive Director of Strategic Alliances and Operations, Giulianna is the principal liaison between the Johns Hopkins Innovations team, market-facing partners, and customers to lead strategies that maximize mutually beneficial outcomes while growing the Solutions product portfolio. Giulianna engages multi-national firms and provides operations leadership for the entire Innovation division, encompassing onsite clinics, population health analytics software and consulting, and chronic condition management programs.
Throughout her career, Giulianna has worked with leading academic medical centers and corporate organizations to advance their business objectives by creating and managing e-commerce initiatives, developing new business processes, improving marketing operations, and facilitating partnerships worldwide.
Prior to joining the Johns Hopkins team, Giulianna lead an organization pioneering the online commercialization of intellectual property between the top health systems in the United States and around the world.
Giulianna has a Master of Science in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University and bachelor’s degree in Management, with a concentration in International Business, and in French from Florida Atlantic University.
