This webinar will outline how a worksite center’s primary care program responded to COVID-19 with a new pandemic primary care model, which includes access to both in-person and virtualized COVID specific care as well as ongoing essential primary care.

The program is free for NAWHC members and $50.00 for non-members.

Program Speakers:

Stephen Ezeji-Okoye, MD, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Stephen Ezeji-Okoye is board certified in Internal Medicine. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College while earning an A.B. in Anthropology, and attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. After completing an internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford, Stephen joined the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) following his residency where he held a wide range of medical administrative positions—including leading VAPAHCS’s Ambulatory Care Service for ten years. In his final twelve years at VAPAHCS, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff and was responsible for the oversight of all clinical operations. Dr. Ezeji-Okoye has also served as a Clinical Professor (Affiliated) at Stanford University School of Medicine, as a national consultant to the VA on the use of Integrative Medicine practices in VA care, and as an Advisory Council member to the National Institute of Health’s National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. He has a passion for population health and in redesigning systems to drive improvements in quality and efficiency. He became proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles to drive quality improvement at VAPAHCS, as well as helped lead efforts at improving Veteran care through a focus on chronic disease management, social determinants of health, and the use of Complementary and Integrative Health practices to promote self-care. Outside of medicine Dr. Ezeji-Okoye enjoys running, movies and trivia.

Daniel Lord, DC, Clinical Program Director

Daniel is the Director of Clinical Programs with the integrated primary care medical group at Crossover Health. Prior to his current role, Daniel managed their muskuloskeletal (MSK) program including physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and fitness services. Previously with Crossover on-site at Facebook HQ, Daniel worked closely with the health center’s leadership team to develop their MSK program and strategy. In 2019 Dan was the keynote speaker at FOTO's (Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes) annual Outcomes Summit where he presented his co-authored original research on integrated MSK clinical and economic outcomes and Crossover’s program. From 2011-2013 Daniel was the sports chiropractor for Oracle Racing Team USA which successfully defended the 34th America’s Cup in San Francisco.
